Come on out to Tecolote Farm for a potluck and pickling class!
Attendees will learn how to make a popular condiment, smoky chipotle pickled onions! We’ll cover the waterbath canning method of sealing the jars for shelf-storage as well as common safety concerns with food preservation. Beyond the process of working with onions, participants will learn the methodology for how to safely and deliciously fresh pickle any vegetable. Participants will each take home a recipe packet and 3lbs of onions to pickle at home. $25 – register here
